At Boutique Du Lac, we offer free standard delivery with Canada Post for all purchases of $ 99 or more, before tax and after applicable discounts.
For certain exceptional shipments, surcharges may apply depending on the size, weight or receipt address of the order. If in doubt, you can easily check on our website whether your order qualifies for standard delivery.
Order processing times
When you complete an order on our website, processing times vary depending on when you place the order. Our team processes online orders Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST. If you place an order on Friday evening or the weekend, it will be processed the following Monday.
You will get the delivery time for your order when you choose the delivery method when you finalize your shopping cart. The delivery time includes the processing time for your order discussed above. In addition, note that only working days are counted in the estimated delivery time and that your package may arrive at its destination before the time provided by Canada Post.
For any delivery in Canada, Boutique du Lac commit to reimburse the delivery costs to the customer in the event that your package arrives after the time indicated, with the exception of any delay caused by events beyond the control of Boutique du Lac.
Pick up in store
For all of our customers in the Quebec City area, you can choose the "In-store Pickup" option offered free of charge when finalizing your shopping cart. Customers will be contacted by phone as soon as their order is ready to be picked up.
Please note that for security reasons when picking up your in-store purchases, Boutique du Lac requires a copy of your invoice, your credit card with which you made the purchase and an identity card. You will also need to sign a document confirming the recovery of your package.
The shipping costs will be displayed in the first step of finalizing your shopping cart.
Reception and collection
The reception and collection of your orders are done according to Canada Post procedures.
Cancellation of the order
In the event that you wish to cancel your order, please contact our customer service as soon as possible at 1-888-653-2655 or on our online chat so that we can validate the order status. If it is still in the process of processing the order, we can cancel it.
If you ever need to contact us outside of our opening hours, please write to us at our email firstname.lastname@example.org indicating in the subject line "ORDER CANCELLATION # 0012345".
Please note that we ship the vast majority of our orders within 24 hours. If the order has already been shipped, unfortunately we cannot make the cancellation.
Refusal of delivery, non-complaint of a package or delivery to the wrong address
In the event that you refuse to take possession of your package upon delivery, it will be returned to our store or warehouse. The costs of this return will be fully assumed by Boutique du Lac. The same principle applies for unclaimed packages. For more information on Canada Post procedures, refer to this explanatory page. In addition, packages delivered to the wrong address or those with an incomplete address will automatically be returned to Boutique du Lac.
Boutique du Lac is not responsible for postage, customs fees or other taxes relating to the return of the item with the exception of the refusal of a package that has been damaged during transport or an error in the shipment. address that is not caused by the customer.
In the event that we must refuse to return your items or you have provided an incorrect shipping address and we need to re-ship your entire order, a charge of $ 25 will be imposed to cover the costs.
If we still haven't heard from you after 10 business days, we'll refund your order, subtracting the shipping costs.
Tracking your order
Upon confirmation of your purchase, you will receive a tracking number from Canada Post by email. You can then track your package using this number in Canada Post's tracking service right here.

Shipping to Canada
For deliveries made to Canada, the taxes billed depend on the destination of your order, not the billing address. For more details on the taxes of each province, click here.
Delivery outside of Canada
For deliveries to a destination outside of Canada, customs fees and import taxes may be charged by the country of destination. These additional charges are the responsibility of the purchaser. Boutique du Lac has no control over this type of charge. If you want to know more, you can refer to the border services of the destination country.
Restrictions for dangerous or non-standard products
For deliveries of products considered unsafe or non-standard, restrictions may apply at our discretion. We reserve the right to refuse delivery of these products outside of Canada at any time without notice.
